Refund policy

Political Retro values its customers and strives to ensure their satisfaction to the utmost of our ability. However, given the nature of our production model (unique items printed on demand), we do not carry an active inventory. Therefore, all sales are final provided the product or products are delivered and are as described on our website. 

If you make an error when ordering (ie. wrong size or color) and notify us immediately, it MAY be possible for us to make the correction. However, if the order is already in production, it will not be (production start times vary). 

A refund is possible in certain cases:

  1. Unable to Print and Ship: If we are unable to print and ship you the product or products ordered, we will, of course, refund you the purchase price and shipping fees associated with that product or those products. Please note that if your order contains both products that we are able to fulfill as well as products we cannot, we will only refund those we cannot and the shipping fees associated with those products.
  2. Shipment Does Not Arrive: If your order is shipped, and you had provided us with valid shipping information and it does not arrive, we will refund you the purchase price of the product or products that did not arrive along with the associated shipping fees. This is contingent on us not receiving a contradictory notification from a postal carrier stating that it was delivered. Also not all of our products are shipped together. If part of your order arrives and part does not, we will only refund the product or products you did not receive. Please Note: While we estimate production times as 1-2 business days and shipping times as 5-7 business days, we only consider a product Not Delivered and eligible for a refund if it has not arrived within 30 days of you placing the order for deliveries within the United States or within 60 days of you placing the order for Canadian or International deliveries.
  3. Damaged Products: If there is physical damage to the product or products you ordered that occurred during shipping or in production, please provide us with a photograph of the damage as soon as possible and we will either provide you with a refund of the cost and associated shipping fees or will replace the damaged product(s) at no extra cost (following a return of the damaged product(s)). Please note that this only covers physical damage to the product itself and not damage visible on the original source image reproduced intentionally. We offer several products with imagery reprinted from photographs of original posters and pins that are not digitally retouched and may include scratches, folds, tears and other blemishes kept in for the sake of authenticity. These are visible on the mockup product images and the fact that blemishes are reproduced is noted in the product description text.
  4. Production or Design Errors: If you find errors in the design of the product or products you receive such as misaligned or incorrectly cropped images and what you received does not match the product advertised, you may be entitled to a refund for the sale price of the product(s) and associated shipping fees or a replacement product at no extra charge. Please send us a photograph of the product(s) when requesting a refund. Please note that several of our products are printed with photographs of original campaign posters and pins which may contain scratches, tears and other blemishes. As we do not digitally retouch the imagery for the sake of authenticity and as such blemishes are visible in the digital mockups of the products and noted in the product descriptions on our website, we do not consider these to be errors and do not provide a refund.
